Pilates Mat Work Variations Plus
This collection includes sequences based in Contemporary Pilates Mat work (Stott and John Garey Pilates specifically) and Buti Yoga with and without small props combined with principles from the Franklin Method, Body Mind Centering, Anatomy Trains in Motion, Eugene Sandow’s Light Dumbbell Training as well as various other somatic practices.
A sampler of organ embodiment, fascial fitness, plyometrics, cardio dance, shaking, spiraling, strengthening, and stretching. We might use a band and/or weights. We will definitely get a little sweaty and touch ourselves. My goal is to keep your movement motor running (sometimes fast, sometimes slow) for the full hour.
