I offer two live, all level, group classes each week through Zoom. Please register below – you can purchase one class at a time or opt to pay for a package of 4 or 8 sessions (individual or family). If you purchase a package of sessions, please be sure to return to the classes page to register for the classes you plan to attend in advance to make use of your prepaid credits and receive the zoom link for each class.

The FLOW class (Tuesday’s at 9am West Coast/11am Central/12pm East Coast time) is generally slow to moderate paced and a higher level of body awareness/coordination recommended. Expect a unique mix of pilates, yoga, cardio, experiential anatomy, fitness, and somatics. Sometimes we use a Theraband, a towel, Franklin Balls, foam roller, and/or hand weights (1-10 pounds) to add resistance for strengthening or assistance for stretching.

Please email me (olivia@pilatesbyolivia.com) if you have questions about what brand/style of props I recommend.

Upcoming Spotify Playlists

Each week as I am designing the movement sequences we will explore, I also create a playlist on Spotify to enhance our movement experience.  I typically pull from a wide variety of musical genres and time periods with an ear toward the sensation/mood that is generated by the tone or rhythmic quality of the songs and how they relate to each other.  The trajectory of the playlist is loosely based on Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms – flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, stillness.

Listening to music is optional in case you find it distracting for various reasons and prefer to focus on listening purely to my verbal cueing.  If you choose to play the music I have assigned, I suggest you play it on a separate device or if it is on the same device, adjust the volume of the music in Spotify before we get moving (volume can be found in the lower right corner of the Spotify toolbar at the bottom of the screen).
